Principal's Message The education of our students is our number one priority. I believe in keeping Crossroad Academy the choice of excellence for education in Gadsden County. My philosophy includes believing that each student is a unique individual who deserves a caring and stimulating atmosphere in which to grow and mature emotionally, intellectually, and socially. It is my desire as an educator to help students achieve their greatest potential through the instruction of a stimulating curriculum guided by the teacher and administration, the realization that all situations can be teachable moments, and the promotion of respect of all things and of all people. I wish you and your family a very successful school year.
As we venture into a new decade in the 21st century; a time of dire straits and global competition. I visualize a school where success must be the only option. So I welcome you to Crossroad Academy: "The Achievement, The Belief, The Choice, The Difference, The Education" you seek. |

What are Charter Schools?
Charter Schools are independent public schools, not private schools. As public schools, charters do not pick and choose their students. The "charter" establishing Crossroad is a performance contract detailing the school's mission, program, goals, students served, methods of assessment, and ways to measure success. CACS is accountable to its' sponsor-- the local school board-- to produce positive academic results and adhere to the charter contract. |
